Wilsonville Choral Arts Society has two community choirs – one for adults and the other for children. We sing songs in multiple genres and styles and value the enrichment that singing with other people in our community brings us each week in rehearsals. All choirs rehearse in the music room at Lowrie Primary School and perform for the community at the end of each session. While we hope singers are attracted to the full year of choir, we break the season into 2 sessions. Our first session runs September – December and focuses on music for the fall/winter holidays. Session two runs in February – May with a variety of themes. While performing is fun and a great way to showcase our work, our main focus is realizing the benefits that group singing provides in our lives each week. WCAS Children’s Choir
Wilsonville Choral Arts Society Children’s Choir is open to children who love to sing and are interested in making friends with other kids who also love to sing! We are non-audition and target singers in 3rd grade and up. We rehearse on Tuesdays from 4 PM – 5 PM.
WCAS Community Choir
Wilsonville Choral Arts Society Community Choir is for ages 17 – 100+ and is also non-audition. We strive to build community in Wilsonville through song and realize the wellness benefits that singing with other adults has in our lives. We are community singers with a varied range of singing experiences and backgrounds. We invite anyone who enjoys singing (or just wants to get better at it) to join us on Wednesdays from 7 PM – 8:30 PM.
